Introduces the structure of Nigerian government and political development. Covers constitutional history the three tiers of government political parties and democratic processes in Nigeria.

Examines concepts and strategies of community development. Covers community mobilisation participation planning and implementation of development programmes at the grassroots level.

Introduces the structure and functions of local government in Nigeria. Covers history of local government reform revenue sources service delivery and community administration.
