Covers practical skills in concrete production and testing. Includes mix design batching mixing placing curing and testing of concrete for building construction applications.

Introduces surveying principles and techniques for building technology. Covers linear measurement levelling use of surveying instruments and basic setting out of building works on site.

Covers practical woodworking skills for building technology. Includes identification of timber types use of hand and power tools joinery techniques and production of basic timber building components.

Introduces measurement of building works for quantity surveying. Covers principles of measurement taking off dimensions billing quantities and use of standard method of measurement for building elements.
