Covers principles of inorganic chemistry. Includes periodic table chemical bonding oxidation and reduction acids bases and salts and properties of selected elements and their compounds.

Introduces principles of mechanics for science laboratory applications. Covers motion forces Newton's laws work energy power momentum and equilibrium with practical experimental work.

Covers the principles of heat and thermal energy. Includes temperature measurement heat transfer thermodynamics laws thermal expansion and calorimetry with laboratory applications.

Introduces fundamental laboratory techniques and practices. Covers laboratory safety equipment handling glassware measurement techniques sample preparation and basic experimental procedures.

Examines civic rights and responsibilities democratic governance national development and the role of citizens in building a stable and progressive Nigerian society.

Covers mathematical logic set theory matrices linear algebra and their applications in scientific computation and problem solving in science laboratory technology programmes.

Develops technical English communication skills for science and laboratory contexts. Covers scientific report writing laboratory documentation terminology and effective communication in technical environments.
